At Eight Mile Plains Church, we are passionate about fostering God filled Youth and Young Adults so that they can create meaningful relationships, live happy and fulfilling lives, and be willing to share the good news of Jesus with others.
We understand that it can be tricky to do this as a young person in the 21st century, but through connecting in Sabbath School, social gatherings, Friday night Worship programs, and much more, we can help provide a platform for the Lord to shape our purpose to be part of His mission.
To deal with the stress of work and uni life, each year, the Youth and Young Adults’ leadership team organises 3 weekend campouts where the purpose is to Connect, ponder God’s nature, and to have lots of fun. Playing spike ball, frisbee, swimming at the beach, hiking, and having good chats around the campfire are just some of the highlights. Topping off the year with a retreat to somewhere special is always the most anticipated!
Every second Wednesday night right here at Eight Mile Plains church in the Youth and Young Adults room, starting from 6:30pm, we offer up a space where the Youth and Young Adults can just Connect. Starting with a small Bible study and prayer, we spend most of the night chatting about our week, and intentionally taking time to disengage from the repetitiveness of the week. It is a great space to bring your own dinner, unwind, and just chat about life!

As a Christian church, we are a faith community grounded in the teachings of the Bible. We believe that the Bible is the inspired Word of God and is our guide for living a fulfilling lifestyle.
